Power & Comfort

Great design should should always be progressing. So should technology. The interior of the new 911 is, therefore, blazing new trails – in that it resonates old strengths while expanding on new possibilities.

The interior design clearly emphasizes the horizontal. All relevant operating controls are located conveniently within grasp, to the left and right of the multifunction sport steering wheel. This allows for optimal comfort and therefore full concentration on the road. Directly in view is new the gauge cluster with analog tachometer and two high-resolution 7˝ displays. They provide all the essential car information on virtual instruments. Next to this area is the high-resolution 10.9˝ touchscreen display of Porsche Communication Management, including online navigation.

The raised center console is decoupled from the dashboard and, as do the dashboard and door panel finishes, underlines the horizontal orientation inside the vehicle. The Porsche Advanced Cockpit control concept now houses a few partially touch-sensitive buttons. Above this are five buttons, which have been consciously kept as analog buttons, for direct feedback access to the essential functions of drive and chassis.
